CORE (Environmental Solutions)

JMESPL has highlighted two major avenues of environmental pollution that need the help of our veteran team:

Water

Water is a limited resource that is being depleted at an exceptionally high rate, due to water scarcity, pollution, etc. Thus, JMESPL ventured into providing effective solutions to help alleviate this rising concern globally.

ETP & STP upgradation to ZLD

Traditional treatment plants have high rate of water losses by means of process flaws as well as unusable treated water due to substandard characteristics. JMESPL provides total support by analyzing the existing plant, presenting an upgradation plan, overseeing technology and equipment upgradation and offering operation and maintenance services for ETP/STP/WTP to Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) plant process.

JMESPL provides Continuous Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Systems (CAAQMS) and Continuous Environmental Monitoring Systems (CEMS) to assist the projects and government departments monitor the condition of air in real-time with very low margin of errors. We also undertake operation, maintenance and calibration of these equipment to ensure streamlined process.

To a layman, air quality parameters do not translate as effectively but anyone can just observe the smell or as scientifically termed odour and judge the air quality. But as we dive deeper into air pollution, we realize that even highly treated effluents sustain certain odour characteristics.

At its core, odour pollution involves unwanted or offensive smells deemed objectionable by individuals. These unpleasant odours often stem from industrial processes, agricultural activities, sewage treatment, landfills, etc. Its effects on health can be broadly divided into psychological (mental well-being, decreased quality of life) and physiological impacts(respiratory issues, nausea, long term health risks). JMESPL provides the following solutions to reduce the risks arising from Odour Pollution:

Air pollution in India is a serious environmental issue. Of the 35 most polluted cities in the world in 202, 8 are in India. Severe affects of air pollution can range from human health hazards (such as wheezing/difficulty breathing, respiratory diseases, nervous system damage, birth defects, etc.), to causing acid rains and negatively affecting growth of plants.

Odour Monitoring & Mapping

Understanding the levels and dispersion pattern of odour is the first step to countering this growing issue, JMESPL adheres to the following SOP to achieve this:

Odour Mitigation

Based on the reports generated by odour monitoring and the models developed by odour mapping, the team develops an odour mitigation plan that includes:
